Ethical Production

HYER GOODS’ female-owned factory is SEDEX-complaint and located in India, where they pay all production workers a living wage.

Giving Back

1% of HYER GOODS’ gross sales go to a rotating monthly mission charity.

Reducing Waste

All of HYER GOODS’ products are made with deadstock fabrics and waste from the fashion industry.

Founder Dana Cohen wanted to mitigate the massive amounts of waste coming out of the fashion industry. The answer? Upcycling!

On a mission to upcycle the fashion industry.

On the outside, HYER GOODS looks like the trendy bags you see littered across Instagram and held in the arms of Pinterest-Board-worthy individuals– but they’re so much more than that. HYER GOODS is looking to upcycle the fashion industry’s waste and turn it into something gloriously chic. ‘Waste’ in this case refers to deadstock leathers, materials, and scraps of which there are 6.3 million tons thrown away each year during the design and production process. Because of this, HYER GOODS is using the most sustainable option out there– materials that already exist! By upcycling deadstock, HYER GOODS saves a massive amount of carbon emissions that are traditionally needed to cultivate the textile industry. It’s not perfect but it is the only existing option that doesn’t rely on plastic, like vegan leathers traditionally do. So go off, look cute, and enjoy these genuine leather bags without further depleting mother earth’s resources.
