French-born founder Cecile grew up wearing collants (tights) from childhood and well into her adulthood as a lawyer. It was around then that she realized the tights she had were stifling her spirit and self-expression, so she started Les Belles. Meaning “the beautifuls/pretties,” Les Belles is the wardrobe staple everyone needs, except now they’re made sustainably and ethically at an affordable price. The durable butter-soft recycled materials and italian silhouettes are crafted for every gender and personality, because at its core Les Belles believes even something tight can be freeing if done right.
